Taylor’s video is charming and enchanting. It’s beginning show us an abandoned home- a room with tattered, yellowed and torn wallpaper and a fireplace that would have been beautiful back in the day. If you look closely, you can imagine ghosts of resident’s past. Taylor’s flowy dress is a throwback to fashion of the past and simpler times, as is her fitting hairstyle. The simplicity of the setting blends well with Taylor’s soulful voice. She wanders through the abandon rooms, singing not only to her lover, but making a promise to stay with the old home, making it what it once was.

I’m fighting back tears!! Very special and very feeling and sincere! Her voice is remarkable.

Jacey has a very cool vibe. A little “Nora Jones meets Adele” for me.

Taylor’s "Fixer Upper" is a memorable song in a sea of mediocrity. The video is mesmerizing in an Americana meets Sade landscape of beauty. This song could crossover in so many markets. Close your eyes and enjoy.

The rolling folk energy of this track immediately reminded me of the ‘70s . . . there’s a Fleetwood Mac energy to some parts of the composition. Taylor’s vocal is outstanding. Anyone who has ever been in a successful long-term relationship will resonate with just how true this sentiment is. It’s also just… so darn sweet.

The combination of raw emotion with her unique gift for melody has come together to create an instant hit and one of the best songs that has come out this year. From the very first line - “You stand there, it takes the air right out of this whole room” - I was hooked. What an amazing song full of heart, wrapped up in a melody that you just want to keep hearing again and again.
